Dr. David
B. Hinshaw is the visionary medical leader
who guided Loma Linda University Medical School
through a 30-year period of unprecedented physical
growth and academic development. From 1961 through
1994, Dr. Hinshaw's efforts spearheaded the establishment
of both the 550-bed Loma Linda University Medical
Center (LLUMC) and the 500-bed VA Hospital at
Loma Linda in Southern California. In addition,
Dr. Hinshaw's administrative and research accomplishments
have been instrumental in transforming Loma Linda
University Medical School into an internationally
renowned center of clinical innovation, especially
in the fields of nuclear medicine and transplantation.
Dr. Hinshaw's
credentials include:

levels of administrative responsibility
at Loma Linda University Medical School
