Barbara E. Loughman, Ph.D. is EncorePharma's President and Chair of the Board. She brings to EncorePharma over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with international credentials in business development and regulatory affairs, as well as in clinical research. Dr. Loughman has a special interest in oncology, specifically in the development of chemopreventive and biologic anti-cancer drugs.

Dr. Loughman's credentials include:
· Regulatory management responsibility for successful market approval   of 1 biological, 6 new drugs and several product line extensions.
· Senior management positions at PRA International, and the heritage   companies Hoechst Marion Roussel, Rhone-Poulenc Rorer,   Monsanto/Searle, and The Upjohn Company
· 14 years experience in directing drug discovery research
· Former NIH Fellow and Associate Professor of Medicine at Loma    Linda University
· Significant research contributions in the fields of immunotherapy and    immunosuppression
